WILBUR (GIBB) MONKMAN It is with great sadness that we the family of Wilbur (Gibb) Monkman announce his passing with his loving family by his side in Selkirk General Hospital on Tuesday, March 22, 2005 at the age of 67 years. He was predeceased by his mother Gertrude; father Richard; brother Emery; sisters-in-law, Mary and Marg Monkman; son William; and brother-in-law Edward Thomas. Survived by his wife Marlene; sons, Kevin (Jody Edmonds), Terry, Keith Ginther; daughters, Cindy and Judy; sons-in-law, Neil and Marty; six grandchildren; sisters, Gladys, Jean, Marlene (Gillis), Myrna (Romeo), Merle (Melvin), Mardella (Gerald); brothers, Melvin and Ronald Monkman; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers donations in Wilbur's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice. Cremation has taken place. Prayers will be held Friday, March 25 at 7:00 p.m. at the Grand Marais Recreation Centre. Memorial service will be held Saturday, March 26 at 1:00 p.m. at the Grand Marais Recreation Centre.
